BEWARE OF TELEMARKETING SCAM
There is a fraudulent telemarketing scam being performed by a computer-generated voice message stating that your credit card at Ingersoll-Rand Federal Credit Union has been canceled. This message asks you to enter your account number and pin over the telephone. This is just one of many types of scams being circulated.
Please be aware that Ingersoll-Rand Federal Credit Union would never use this type of automated message to alert you of a potential problem with any of your accounts. We already have your account number and personal information. If a problem does arise, you will be contacted either by email through Virtual Branch or by an employee identifying themselves to you. Never give any personal information over the telephone unless you initiate such communication and know who you are speaking to. Not doing so could open you up to many potential problems, including Identity Theft.
